Heritage Engineering provided professional engineering services related to the engineering and preparation of construction documents for Valley Farms Development. Specific work elements included:
- Survey - Including Record Plat forming Lots 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003 and 51 R-4 Single Family Lots and a Minor Plat creating Lots 1004, 1005, and 1006, as shown on the Detailed District Development Plan, Profiles for Roads, Sewers and Drains, as required and appropriate survey control. All coordinates will be given in State Plane Coordinates.
- Sanitary Sewers - Prepare calculations and construction documents for the gravity sanitary sewers in accordance with MSD, Jefferson County Health Department, and Kentucky Division of Water requirements that will serve Valley Farms.
- Storm Drainage - Prepare calculations and construction documents for the storm water conveyance system (swales, ditches, and storm sewers) and for the two or three storm water detention basins. Prepare plan and calculations for EPSC.
- Roadways - Prepare calculations and construction plans for the roadways to be constructed for Valley Farms. This shall include design of a deceleration lane for Valley Station Road (approximately 1300 l.f.), Deering Road Intersection Study and signalization plan, Entrance plans, roadway plans, and appropriate details. Prepare the parking layout plan and grading plan for the site.
- Water Lines - Prepare calculations and construction documents for public water lines to serve the Single Family section in accordance with Louisville Water Company requirements, and the necessary plans for private water lines to serve the remainder of the development.
- Easements - Prepare an easement plat for Valley Farms. The plat will include required Access Easement(s) and Utilities Easement(s).
- Utilities - Provide coordination services for the installation of the following utilities: gas, electric, telephone, and cable television.
- Specifications - Prepare specifications and bid documents for the construction plans listed in this scope of work.
